1. Who we are
Choppers & Roadsters ("we", "us") operates Drawing Checker and is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the service. Contact: shaileshcs1945@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, hashed password, authentication identifiers.
- Content: engineering drawings, checking guidelines, inspection reports you create or upload.
- Usage and telemetry: pages visited, features used, timestamps, error logs.
- Device data: IP address, browser, operating system, device identifiers.
- Support data: messages you send us and metadata related to them.
Payment data is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored by us.
3. How and why we use data
- To create and operate your account (contract performance).
- To deliver, maintain, and improve the service (legitimate interests).
- To provide customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests).
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
- To send service and transactional communications (contract performance).
- To send marketing communications, where you have opted in (consent).
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
4. Sharing
We share personal data with:
- Subprocessors providing hosting, database, AI inference, analytics, and email infrastructure.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including in jurisdictions where we or our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this notice or to comply with legal obligations. Account and content data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to satisfy backups, dispute resolution, and legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
